Near Old Man's cave, Cedar Falls, Lake Hope, national forests and state parks which offer swimming, canoeing, hiking, horse trails, zip lines and other fun stuff to do.

Summary: We had a fantastic time. Margot and John were wonderful hosts and my 5 yr old loved helping out with the chores. The cabin is as described and the kitchen was thoughtfully stocked. Margot dropped off her homemade goat cheese and bread and it was a real treat. We absolutely plan to return again next year!

Summary: It’s a lovely ranch, the property is stunning and the hosts were kind enough to show us around. It had everything you need, my only caution would be that the beds in the room with the bunk were definitely not made for two adults

Summary: The small house where we stayed was humble, clean, and nicely decorated with great books on the shelves. It was lovely to be by a pasture with wide skies and green rolling hills all around. At night we opened the windows to hear the peepers and farm animals quietly living alongside us. Margot and John were gracious hosts. We loved joining Margot for morning chores and meeting all the animals, especially the dogs.

Summary: Margot and John were incredibly kind and welcoming. My partner and I stayed over the weekend, and got welcomed with brownies and shown around the farm for chores. Completely optional but completely worth it to see the animals and get to know both of them! We had our car get stuck due to weather at the end of our stay, and they offered us food and helped us move our car. Incredible kindness and we will be back!

Summary: Perfect cozy cabin for our short vacay after Christmas! Super clean, perfectly situated for enjoying Lake Hope State Park, the Lake Hope Furnace and other local attractions. Lots of board games, books, a fire pit, a grill and a well stocked kitchen. Will definitely return!
